Buxton Swimming Club Coaching Staff Announcement
We are pleased to announce that David Peet has been selected to be the new Head Coach of Buxton Swimming Club, to be assisted by Michael Glossop as Senior Coach. Both Coaches will be working accross all areas of the Club, non swimmers to seniors.
Dave is the former Head Coach of Macclesfield Sattelites and is qualified to Level 3 Club Coach standard. Dave has 15 years of experience teaching and coaching at swimming clubs and brings lots knowledge and enthusiasm to the Club.
Michael is qualified to Level 2 swimming Teacher/Coach, still swims competatively for Rykneld Swimming Club at regional and national level and has represented Derbyshire at inter counties meets. Michael will be well placed to bring modern training methods to our junior and senior squads.
The Committee are confident that this blend of Youth and Experience will prove be a huge success. Dave and Mike will play a huge part of our future development plans when we are back in Buxton, where we aim to provide high quality swimming lessons, technique work for all swimmers and look to expand our training programme for our competative swimmers.
