Crusdaer League Gala 25/05/10

Firstly I'd like to say a big "thank you" to all the poolside helpers at the weekend; Trisha, Julie, Darren, Jo and Rachel. Also, well done to all the swimmers involved especially those who swam up age groups in order to make up relay teams. Positives and negatives from the gala have been noted. Great team spirit was shown along with good, hard racing and safe relay takeovers. It was difficult in a pool of that length. We need to ensure the simple things are done and done well. Things like swimming hard into the finish and racing with perfect technique skills practiced in training, including correct and fast turns.

We need to ensure that plenty of notice is given when a swimmer is unavailable for a gala.
